  • Participated in the 2nd and 3rd Text Summarization Challenge (TSC) tasks in NTCIR workshops (an international workshop for natural language processing held in Japan).
Terminological Management
  • Main task as a research assistant at the University of Salford working for the National Centre for Text Mining.
  • An efficient implementation of C-value term-extraction method.
  • An acronym recognition method based on statistical information.
  • Disambiguation of acronyms and their expanded forms.
Chance Discovery
  • Advanced a project to integrate common processes of Chance Discovery into existent text mining tools as a research assistant of Japan Science and Technology Agency.
  • Developed Polaris, an integrated text-mining software for Chance Discovery.
Conversational Agent
